Job summary

Flex is seeking a Jr Sustainability Analyst in Guadalajara to support data-driven sustainability initiatives. You will consolidate data from manufacturing sites, develop KPI reports, and help drive emissions reduction and efficiency across operations.

Key tasks include data validation, BOM data coordination, and creating dashboards for stakeholders. A background in energy/environmental fields and strong English communication are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelordf degree in a related field and strong data analytics capabilities.
• Experience with sustainability, environmental data, or energy reporting.
• Ability to create dashboards and data visuals for stakeholders.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Jr Sustainability Analyst located in Guadalajara.

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager the Jr Sustainability Analyst Responsible to support initiatives that create shared value for the Company, retrieve valuable date to create reports and analyze information in order to provide insights, direction and KPI follow up to the business and improve sustainability strategy.

What a typical day looks like:

• Collect, consolidate, and validate sustainability-related data from multiple manufacturing sites, including water consumption, energy usage, and employee training activities.
• Analyze environmental and operational data to support emission reduction initiatives and sustainability best practices across the organization.
• Develop calculations, metrics, and performance baselines to assess site performance, track progress against goals, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Generate and maintain KPI reports, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reported data.
• Coordinate the collection, analysis, and validation of Bill of Materials (BOM) data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and completeness.
• Provide support for sustainability projects by gathering, verifying, and organizing information required for reporting and decision-making.
• Maintain documentation, records, and other administrative deliverables related to sustainability programs and improvement initiatives.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders to ensure the availability and accuracy of data used for analysis, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist in the identification of new sustainability indicators.
• Support monitoring process of sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, waste generation, and recycling.
• Identify or procure needed resources to implement sustainability programs or projects.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in similar role sustainability, environmental, energy, reporting, analytics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Experience working with large datasets, reporting processes, KPI tracking, and performance analysis.
• Experience supporting sustainability/ performance environmental programs.
• Ability developing reports, dashboards, visualizations, or data insights for business stakeholders.
• Experience using dashboard and reporting tools would be an advantage.
• Ability to integrate AI tools to daily activities.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
