ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules Gmbh in Toluca, Mexico seeks a JIS Coordinator to join the supply chain team. You will coordinate supplier risk, monitor capacity and delivery, and act as a key contact for customers and Tier-n suppliers to ensure continuous production.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in supply chain or production control (automotive preferred), experience with JIS/JIT processes, and strong SAP (JIS module) knowledge. Hybrid work options may apply.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, or production control (automotive preferred).
• Experience with JIS/JIT processes is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (JIS module) and EDI systems.
• Familiarity with PCS (Production Control Systems).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, escalate, and mitigate supplier-related risks with senior management.
• Monitor supplier capacity, delivery performance, and prevent disruptions.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and Tier-n suppliers on capacity and delivery issues.
• Ensure uninterrupted production by preventing shortages of serial production components.
• Identify constraints and drive timely resolutions to avoid production stoppages.
• Coordinate with SQEs, Buyers, Key Account Managers, and Material Planners.
• Support engineering changes and product launches with planning teams.
• Communicate demand, mix, or volume changes to planning promptly.
• Monitor daily customer demand via SAP JIS/PCS systems.
• Maintain open issue logs and coordinate with IT and customers on data errors.
• Lead Disruption Recovery Management during system failures (SAP, PCS, ASN, PLC).
• Support assembly operations through DRM to maintain production continuity.
• Ensure shipments comply with SWET requirements; participate in audits.

Supplier & Risk Management

• Proactively evaluate, **escalate**, and mitigate supplier-related risks in collaboration with senior management at ZFFCN and OEMs.
• Monitor supplier capacity, work patterns, and delivery performance to prevent supply chain disruptions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and Tier n suppliers regarding capacity and delivery issues.

Production Continuity & Material Availability

• Ensure uninterrupted production at ZFFCN and OEM plants by preventing shortages of serial production components.
• Identify supply chain constraints and drive timely resolution to avoid production stoppages or cost impacts.
• Track and follow up on critical components for STLA production, including serial production, pre-series, and special builds.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate closely with ZFFCN Commodity SQEs, Technical Buyers, Key Account Managers, and Material Planners to ensure supplier readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering Change teams to support implementation of engineering changes and product launches.
• Communicate any demand, mix, or volume changes promptly to the planning team.

Systems & Data Management

• Monitor daily customer demand (TOD), JIS cancellations, new orders, and ASNs via EDI-SAP-PCS systems.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance in OEM capacity and demand management portals.
• Work within SAP JIS module and PCS systems to guarantee proper receipt and execution of customer requirements (MQS).

Issue Resolution & Problem Tracking

• Manage and maintain open issue tracking logs to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with IT and customers to resolve system or data errors following ZFFCN standards and procedures.
• Lead DRM (Disruption Recovery Management) processes during system failures (e.g., SAP, PCS, ASN transmission, or PLC interface issues).

Operational Support & Compliance

• Support assembly operations through DRM processes when required to maintain production continuity.
• Monitor assembly line output to ensure shipments comply with customer SWET requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings, audits, and follow directives related to material planning and logistics quality (LQS).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, or production control (automotive industry preferred)
• Experience with JIS/JIT processes is highly desirable

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP (JIS module preferred) and EDI systems
• Familiarity with PCS (Production Control Systems)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
