EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Java Solution Architect to define technical direction and deliver resilient enterprise platform solutions. You will align stakeholders on architecture, guide modernization and integration, and apply Java, Apache Kafka, cloud-native practices, and REST best practices.

Formación

• 5+ years in enterprise software engineering with at least 1 year in senior/architectural role.
• Strong Java backend expertise for scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for distributed messaging.

Responsabilidades

• Translate architectural strategy into detailed engineering plans and steps.
• Act as technical authority, resolve complex issues, define solution patterns.
• Lead architectural discussions and guide decisions, occasionally contributing code.
• Mentor senior engineers to grow the team.
• Collaborate with Product, SREs, DBAs, and other stakeholders on estimation and planning.
• Drive proofs-of-concept and assess new technologies for business fit.
• Enforce coding standards and maintain thorough system documentation.
