Infosys is hiring a Software Engineer for a hands-on role in a hybrid setup in Mexico City. You will develop web and mobile web UIs, implement server-side logic, and collaborate with global teams.

The position demands strong English communication and extensive experience with Java, Spring, API development, HTML5/CSS3/JS frameworks, and DevOps practices.

Formación

• 5+ years translating requirements into production code.
• Strong UI and API development experience in web/mobile apps.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE ecosystem and Spring stack.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, design patterns, and distributed transactions.
• Familiar with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC practices.
• Experience leading a team or project is a plus.

Description

Software Engineer is a hands-on developer with considerable experience in application-layer development and user interface implementation for both web and mobile web applications.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationships, collaborative and organizational skills
• 5+ years of experience translating functional product requirements into application-layer code, and visual designs into functional user interfaces within traditional web applications
• Experience with large scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience
• Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Aspects, etc.), JPA, JSF, JUnit, Web Services (SOAP & REST), JSON/XML, JBoss, Log4j, Eclipse STS, SQL, Oracle DB Server
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, KarmaJS, jQuery
• Experience working with API development (REST & SOAP), Design Patterns, Distributed Transactions
• Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment
• Testing Pyramid - Unit Testing, Functional, Contract, Integration & TDD (JUnit, Mockito)
• Act as a key contributor in the establishment and application of policies and standards related to cloud technology.
• Performance optimization, Architecture & Design, Code review practices.
• Experience in leading a team and project is a plus
