Infosys is hiring an IT Java Architect in Mexico City, working hybrid (three days on-site). The role focuses on delivering complex, secure Java-based services with high throughput and low latency, and involves hands-on coding, architecture guidance, and cross‑team collaboration.

You will drive automation, code reviews, and improvements to pipelines and SDLC practices while mentoring engineers and introducing new technologies across domains.

Formación

• Has ability to write secure code in Java and JavaScript, familiar with secure coding standards (OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT).
• Experience building applications using open frameworks to enable reuse and faster development (Spring Boot, Steeltoe, Angular, DXP).
• Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting, and coaching teams on development practices and coding guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Own complex problems with cross-service dependencies and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
• Write and review code to deliver high-quality artifacts to production with standard practices.
• Define, design, and develop service-level procedures to meet business requirements with high throughput and low latency.
• Drive prioritization with product partners and build roadmaps to enhance services.
• Automate software delivery and promote engineering excellence; advocate for sustainable patterns and reduced operational friction.
• Lead blameless postmortems to identify root causes and implement learnings.
• Introduce new technologies and architectures following enterprise guidelines and evangelize best practices across teams.
• Provide architecture guidance to team members and build strong partnerships across the organization.
• Lead by example with hands-on approach and promote reuse of patterns and libraries.
• Encourage knowledge sharing within Guild/Program to improve productivity.
