Capgemini is seeking a results-driven automation engineer in Mexico to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium. You will build scalable solutions, create reusable components, and troubleshoot complex automation challenges while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes strong coding skills in Java, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivery of reliable automation with measurable quality metrics.

• Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, not just test scripts.
• Solid understanding of Playwright concepts, including framework architecture and design patterns.
• Ability to handle child windows, frames, and multiple tabs.
• Create reusable components and test fixtures for scalable automation.
• Hands-on coding to build scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in complex automation scenarios.
• Experience integrating and executing automated tests through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Git and Agile methodologies.
• Preferred API automation experience.
• Test reporting and quality metrics tools.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

Strong experience in Playwright, Selenium, and Java .

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks , not only test scripts.
• Solid understanding of Playwright concepts, including :
• Framework architecture and design patterns
• Child windows, frames, and multiple tabs handling
• Reusable components and test fixtures
• Hands-on coding experience to create scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex automation scenarios.
