Brillio 2 is hiring a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and APIs. The role emphasizes Spring Boot, Hibernate, and distributed architectures, with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment expertise.

You will work on service-to-service communication using REST, Kafka, and gRPC, and optimize databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch. Mentorship and production issue resolution are key components of the role.

Formación

• 2–4 years of backend development experience with Java and microservices
• Experience designing scalable backends, APIs, and distributed systems
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, gRPC messaging, and service-to-service communication

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Architect distributed systems for high transaction volumes with reliability and performance
• Build and optimize REST, Kafka, and gRPC messaging frameworks
• Design and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) for performance
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend apps
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes for cloud-native deployments
• Lead design discussions and drive technical decisions
• Mentor junior engineers via code reviews and guidance
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead performance tuning initiatives across services
