Capgemini Engineering is seeking a MID - Java + ASO Engineer for a remote role. The candidate will work on Java development basics, OOP concepts, and OSS tools while collaborating with global teams to deliver engineering solutions.

The role emphasizes repository management, branching, and integration with common IDEs. Remote work flexibility is offered, aligning with Capgemini's global engineering culture.

Formación

• Basic Java programming experience.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Knowledge of at least one other object-oriented programming language.
• Java Development Kit (JDK) and IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.

Responsabilidades

• Install and configure repositories, branches, and merges including clone and commit workflows.
• Initialize and clone repositories; add and commit changes; view history and status.
• Create and switch branches; merge branches; resolve conflicts.

YOUR ROLE

• Installation and initial configuration Basic concepts: repository, commit, branch, merge
• Initializing and cloning repositories Adding and committing changes (add, commit) Viewing history and repository status (status, log)
• Creating and switching branches Merging branches (merge) Conflict resolution

YOUR PROFILE

• Basic Java programming experience
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Knowledge of at least one other object-oriented programming language
