Job summary

Genpact seeks a technically strong leader for Application Development JAVA N to own API contracts, data schemas, and integration patterns. You will drive contract-first development across platform services and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data consistency and scalable solutions.

You will integrate MES/Historian/LIMS data into asset models, define data standards, and align models with AI and digital twin efforts, while leveraging REST/JSON/YAML and ISA‑95 concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Masters in Software Engineering is a plus and expected for senior roles.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own and design API contracts, data schemas, and configuration models aligned with ISA‑95 canonical semantic architecture.
• Lead implementation of contract-first development across platform services and integrations.
• Integrate MES, Historian, LIMS data into standardized asset and batch models.
• Build and maintain semantic data layer connecting OT systems to cloud platform.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with backend, AI, and digital twin teams for model alignment.
• Ensure data consistency, traceability, and interoperability across systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with REST APIs, JSON/YAML schemas, and data modeling frameworks.
• Exposure to industrial data models (ISA‑95, OPC‑UA, SiteWise) preferred.
