Job summary

Capgemini Mexico is seeking a senior Data/AI Platform Engineer to drive architecture across AI, data and platform layers. You will lead PoC workstreams, manage risks in GCP infra, and craft migration plans while ensuring LLM routing and HITL design are integrated.

The role requires hands-on experience with production-grade LLM pipelines, FastAPI, and REST API design, with strong stakeholder communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading AI / data platform PoCs end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Gemini.
• Understanding of multi-agent AI patterns and LLM routing.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and metadata-driven lineage.
• Excellent stakeholder communication with senior client counterparts.
• Hands-on building production-grade LLM pipelines or multi-agent systems (FastAPI, event-driven, REST).

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the solution architecture across AI, data, backend, and frontend tracks.
• Lead mid-PoC review and live demo, and draft Phase 1 migration plan.
• Own technical risk for GCP infra, LLM routing, and HITL design.
• Chair weekly status meetings and review sessions.
• Produce evaluation reports, access-readiness, and migration plan.
• Ensure autonomy guardrails are upheld throughout.
