Cummins Inc. in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico seeks an IT Support professional responsible for providing technical and operational support to users and organizational systems, ensuring continuity of IT services.

You will diagnose incidents, troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and applications, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues. The role requires knowledge of Linux, server and infrastructure management, and intermediate English.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Networking, Infrastructure, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to users and organizational systems.
• Receive, diagnose, and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update computers, applications, and IT systems.
• Manage and follow up on user accounts, access, and permissions.
• Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to specialized teams or external vendors when required.
• Provide IT support during the implementation of new systems, equipment, and projects.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with users and provide customer-focused support.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT processes and services.
