Cummins México is seeking an IT Support professional to provide technical and operational support for users and organizational systems. You will diagnose incidents, troubleshoot hardware and software, and maintain IT equipment and infrastructure for optimal service delivery.

The role requires configuring systems, managing user access, and ensuring security policy compliance, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to improve IT processes and user experience.

Formación

• Server & infrastructure management and database administration are required.
• Knowledge of Linux and enterprise application integration is expected.
• Proficiency in English at an intermediate level is required.
• Full stack development skills are beneficial for cross-functional IT projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to users both onsite and remotely.
• Receive, diagnose, and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update computers, applications, and IT systems.
• Manage and follow up on user accounts, access, and permissions.
• Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to specialized teams or external vendors when required.
• Provide IT support during the implementation of new systems, equipment, and projects.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with users and provide customer-focused support.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT processes and services.
