GPV in Mexico's central region seeks an IT Support professional to address user inquiries, diagnose issues across computer systems, hardware, software, and networking, and minimize downtime.

You will install and upgrade systems, manage user accounts, back up data, and maintain local infrastructure while documenting procedures and reporting on incidents. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of IT support experience are required, with familiarity in VMware, Cisco, Windows Server, and MS 365.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of experience as IT Support (software and hardware).
• Knowledge of using, installing and troubleshooting PC, Server, Network.
• Experience with Firewall, VMware, Cisco, Windows Server, Terminal Services, Microsoft 365, and cloud services.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support: Respond to user inquiries and incidents related to computer systems, hardware, software, and networking.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems: Identify and resolve hardware failures, software glitches, and network connectivity issues.
• Install and upgrade systems: Set up new computer systems, install operating systems, software applications and updates.
• Perform system backups and data recovery: Regularly back up critical data and implement disaster recovery strategies.
• Maintain local infrastructure: Monitor and maintain local servers, network equipment, and peripheral devices.
• Documentation and reporting: Document IT procedures, system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
