EX Squared LATAM is seeking an IT Disaster Recovery & Resilience Lead for its Mexico team. The role focuses on planning, executing, and improving disaster recovery capabilities across applications, infrastructure, services, tools, and business processes.

You will collaborate with technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure readiness during outages and disasters. The position requires advanced English, multi-project coordination, and the ability to lead DR exercises, identify gaps, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in IT Disaster Recovery, Technology Resilience, or Business Continuity.
• Experience leading technology teams through simulated or real disaster scenarios.
• Strong experience planning, coordinating, and documenting IT disaster recovery exercises.

Responsabilités

• Lead periodic IT disaster recovery exercises for critical applications, infrastructure, and services.
• Coordinate exercise planning, execution, post-test reviews, reporting, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define disaster scenarios, objectives, participants, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive disaster recovery exercise reports documenting results, gaps, risks, decisions, and remediation actions.
• Coordinate recovery activities during major outages or IT disasters per established plans and processes.
• Maintain readiness to provide on-call or standby support outside regular hours.
• Ensure DR plans include procedures, configurations, dependencies, contacts, and technical information for restoration.
• Support recovery of critical business services across DR sites or secondary regions.
• Review DR and BC plans to identify gaps, dependencies, and risks.
• Develop automation business cases to improve DR/BC efficiency and reduce risk.
