Job summary

EX Squared LATAM seeks a Lead – IT Resiliency to orchestrate disaster recovery exercises for core IT services, infrastructure, and platforms in Mexico. The role requires collaboration with technology teams and business stakeholders to validate recovery objectives, drive remediation, and ensure readiness across critical systems.

The professional will balance on-call duties with proactive resilience initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5–8 years of IT Disaster Recovery, Technology Resilience, Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity, or related area.
Experience leading moderately complex technology organizations through simulated or actual disaster scenarios.
Strong experience planning, coordinating, executing, and documenting IT disaster recovery exercises.

Responsibilities

Lead periodic IT disaster recovery exercises for critical applications, infrastructure, and technology services.
Coordinate exercise planning, execution, post-test reviews, reporting, and remediation activities.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define realistic disaster scenarios, objectives, participants, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
Develop comprehensive disaster recovery exercise reports documenting results, identified gaps, risks, decisions, and required remediation actions.
Coordinate recovery activities during major outages or declared IT disasters according to established plans and processes.
Maintain readiness to provide on-call or standby support outside regular business hours when required.
