Formación

• 2+ years of experience as an IT Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of modern IT infrastructure including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on leadership with ability to set direction, troubleshoot, and own outcomes.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing IT professionals with a collaborative culture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management for cross-functional partners.

IT Manager

Are you a hands‑on IT leader who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building environments where teams can do their best work? Lionbridge Games is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead IT operations for our Mexico City office, supporting the technology infrastructure behind our global gaming business. You will own the stability, security, and performance of a diverse on‑premise and cloud environment while leading a local team of IT professionals. Working closely with developers, designers, production teams, business stakeholders, and global technology leaders, you will turn global IT strategy into reliable, scalable solutions that meet the unique demands of a fast‑moving gaming environment. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with people leadership while helping shape an IT environment built for performance, security, and continued growth.

What You Will Do

• Own and continuously improve local IT infrastructure across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring strong performance, reliability, security, and scalability.


• Lead the local implementation of global IT strategy, partnering with global technology teams to adapt architecture, tools, systems, and standards to the needs of Lionbridge Games.


• Create a frictionless technology environment for developers, designers, production teams, and business users by proactively monitoring systems, resolving complex issues, and minimizing disruptions.


• Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT professionals while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and a culture of collaboration and high performance.


• Maintain strong IT security and compliance standards, protecting company and customer data while implementing and managing appropriate policies and controls.


• Lead technology deployments, infrastructure improvements, and scalability initiatives while serving as the escalation point for complex technical challenges.


• Manage technology vendors and external partners, evaluating and negotiating solutions that balance performance, quality, business requirements, and cost.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• 2+ years of experience as an IT Manager or in a comparable IT leadership position, ideally within gaming, software, digital products, or another fast‑paced technology environment.


• Strong knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, including on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, along with experience establishing and managing IT and security policies.


• A hands‑on leadership approach with the technical confidence to set direction, troubleshoot complex problems, make decisions, and take ownership of outcomes.


• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing IT professionals while building a collaborative and accountable team culture.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with engineering, production, creative, business, and global technology teams.


• Experience managing technology vendors, evaluating solutions, and negotiating contracts while balancing technical requirements, service quality, and cost.


• The ability to manage changing priorities, remain effective under pressure, and operate confidently in a dynamic environment; an interest in gaming, game development, or creative technology is a plus.
