IMI in Mexico (Querétaro) seeks an IT professional to own and optimize business applications, from ERP integrations to data queries. You will liaise with business units, maintain critical IT systems, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

Requirements include a computer engineering background, 8 years IT experience, and English for cross-border communication. On-site work and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for success.

Formación

• Schooling required: Computer Engineering, Computer Systems or equivalent.
• 8 years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of ERPs.
• Experience with WMS integration (RFSmart) and ShipIT.
• Advanced SQL knowledge for data manipulation.
• Experience with label systems (Bartender).
• Experience in application programming.
• Knowledge of Oracle/JDE (Supply Chain Modules) desirable.
• EDI knowledge desirable.

Responsabilidades

Job Requirements:

Level of Education and Experience:

• Schooling required: Computer Engineering, Computer Systems or equivalent.


• 8 Years of experience in IT areas

Required Software:

1. Knowledge of ERPs


2. Integration with WMS (e.g. RFSmart) and other logistics applications (e.g. ShipIT).


3. Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and queries.


4. Experience with label systems (e.g. Bartender).


5. Experience in application programming.


6. Experience desirable in Oracle or JDE (Supply Chain Modules)


7. Knowledge of EDI desirable

Responsibilities

Key point of contact in the business to address IT application issues, which requires interacting with business stakeholders, understanding the issues, and then driving their resolution using the organization's IT resources.

Hands on, to optimize and maintain the operation of IT applications within the organization, being a liason between the needs of the business and the technical support team to design solutions and implement new applications in order to increase productivity and efficiency to meet business objectives.

1. Monitor the Service-Now application support ticket queue and manage application incidents and requests, meeting agreed SLAs for ticket resolution.


2. Proactively collaborate with key business stakeholders to stay on top of any significant IT issues impacting the business.


3. Supporting end users by diagnosing and resolving system problems and errors. This may involve working closely with other IT support teams.


4. Ensure that applications are kept in a supported version.


5. Collaborate closely with IT support providers when necessary to ensure the successful implementation of key enhancements.


6. Assess the need for customization or application development to meet specific business requirements.


7. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, business processes, and changes for future reference.


8. Train end users on how to effectively use business applications to perform their tasks and responsibilities.


9. Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements or optimizations.
