Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, Mechatronics, Software, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years ISO 26262 automotive safety experience, including HARAs, FSCs, SRS and Safety Cases for ASIL B/C/D.
• 3+ years of experience with automotive E/E architecture, vehicle networking (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet), and embedded systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate across technical teams, reviews, and governance boards.
• 2+ years conducting/evaluating safety analyses (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, HAZOP, Dependent Failures).
• 2+ years managing project timelines and reporting to governance boards.
• 1+ year of Python or similar scripting for automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Functional Safety Assessments (FFSD10) and Confirmation Reviews for ASIL C/D.
• Evaluate safety work products (HARAs, FSCs, SRS, Safety Analysis Reports) and maintain assessor independence.
• Review supplier safety deliverables and DIAs to ensure compliant integration.
• Audit safety traceability and verification across Jama, VSEM, and related databases.
• Present findings and recommendations to Functional Safety Governance Board and program leadership.
• Apply Python and automation to enhance safety metric reporting and tracking across platforms.
