Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, seeks an Automotive Functional Safety Engineer to join our Mexico team. You will apply ISO 26262 processes, develop safety work products, and collaborate across systems, software, and hardware teams.

You should have a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering, 2–5 years in automotive or safety roles, and English at B2-C1.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive engineering, systems engineering, embedded systems, or functional safety.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and the functional safety lifecycle.
• Familiarity with HARA, FMEA, FTA, and safety requirements development.
• English proficiency: B2–C1.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development lifecycle of automotive products by applying ISO 26262 functional safety processes.
• Assist in the creation and review of safety work products, including HARA, FMEA, FTA, and Safety Requirements.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams to ensure safety requirements are properly implemented.
• Support safety issue investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to safety documentation, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
