International SOS Government Medical Services is offering an international assignment on Diego Garcia where you will deliver primary, occupational, and urgent medical care in a remote island healthcare setting. You will assess and treat acute illness and injury, support preventive services, and coordinate medical evacuations when needed, working with nurses and other clinicians.

Relocation to Diego Garcia is required for the duration of the assignment; full-time employment with a comprehensive

Formación

• Medical degree from a recognized/accredited institution.
• Postgraduate training and any required specialty credentials.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to relocate to Diego Garcia for the assignment duration.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and treat acute illness and injury, manage chronic conditions.
• Conduct occupational health screenings and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
• Coordinate medical evacuations when necessary and maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with nursing and emergency teams to ensure patient care.
• Support immunizations, health education, and preventive services.
