Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a Lead Physician to provide direct patient care while guiding clinical personnel and coordinating services for a remote, island-based medical program. Qualifications

• Current, valid license or registration to practice medicine with authority for assigned responsibilities.
• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of appropriate postgraduate medical training and specialty credentialing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine, preventive, and urgent medical care within clinical privileges and guide the clinical team.
• Coordinate triage, stabilization, referrals, medical evacuation, and handoffs when on-island capabilities are exceeded.
• Support medical screenings, occupational surveillance, fitness-for-duty assessments, and documentation of medical qualifications or restrictions.
• Collaborate with staff on immunization programs, communicable-disease concerns, and emergency planning.
