Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager – Injection Molding to lead a multidisciplinary team across molding engineering, tooling, maintenance, production, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing data. You will build a safe, efficient, quality-focused operation that delivers commitments while advancing operational excellence and new-product launches.

This hands-on role guides strategic decisions on internal capabilities and external supplier

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Operations, or related Engineering.
• 10+ years of technical experience in manufacturing including injection molding, tooling, maintenance, or product development.
• 5+ years of people-management experience including at least 3 years leading molding or tooling operations.
• Expertise in injection molding process development, mold/tooling management, and machine maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead safety, quality, delivery, labor efficiency, OEE, and cost-improvement initiatives.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and problem-solving capability, SPC, DOE, Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience with budgets, capital investments, supplier performance; ERP/MES (SAP and MATTEC preferred); strong English

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and technical teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and equipment targets.
• Drive operational excellence through standardized work, 5S, TPM, Lean, and continuous-improvement practices.
• Optimize production capacity, labor, materials, inventory, equipment, tooling, and OPEX to meet plans and financial goals.
• Partner with engineering, technology, product, and suppliers to deliver launches and make/buy decisions.
