ZKW Group GmbH in Silao, Guanajuato is looking for a responsible candidate for a technical role focused on manufacturability of plastic components. You will lead the development team's feedback sessions and ensure manufacturing processes are optimized for cost-effective, high-quality production.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing technology, particularly in injection molding.

Formación

• 3-4 years of professional experience in similar areas.
• Well-founded knowledge of manufacturing technology including injection molding.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and provide technical feedback to the development team regarding manufacturability of plastic components.
• Define and optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective, high-quality production.
• Represent production in the product development process.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of manufacturing technology

Knowledge of injection molding processes

Knowledge of DFM

Knowledge of English - level B2

Educación

University degree (plastic or material engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.)

MAIN GOAL

Main responsible for lead, assess and provide technical feedback to development team, in regards of manufacturability of plastic components and their injection molding manufacturing process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Group-wide representation of production in the product development process, definition and cooperation in the integration of production processes in participation in the "simultaneous engineering" – process.

Main responsible for lead, assess and provide technical feedback to development team, in regards of manufacturability of plastic components and their injection molding manufacturing process.

Definition and ongoing optimization of the manufacturing processes, considering the existing and required resources to ensure cost-effective, high-quality product manufacture.

Process know-how carrier: process development/series support & process planning in the field of plastics.

Fulfillment of the tasks and instructions given by the superior in the specified date.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS

• University degree, preferably technical degree (plastic or material engineering, mechanical engineering, automation / mechatronics, electrical engineering, etc.).
• 3-4 years of professional experience in similar areas.
• Well-founded knowledge of manufacturing technology (injection molding & plastic raw part manufacturing).
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, preferably automotive lighting.
• Knowledge of DFM and injection molding simulation interpretation.
• Knowledge of English – level B2.
