ZKW Group GmbH is seeking a CAD Design Engineer for its automotive lighting and electronics modules in Mexico. You will create and manage 3D models, ensure documentation quality, and support tolerance analyses to meet customer and ZKW standards.

Formación

• Experience with plastics, sheet metal or die casting in design.
• Solid CAD skills with CATIA or NX.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and AIAG/VDA 6.3 standards.
• Creative mindset and affinity for industrial design.
• Ability to produce accurate 3D models and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Create virtual models and documentation for defined standards in the 3D CAD system.
• Manage CAD data for parts and small assemblies in the PDM system.
• Contribute to data quality and tolerance analysis as required.

MAIN GOAL

Design of parts and short assemblies in the ZKW product field:

• On time development according to the assigned tasks.
• Fulfill the defined part/assembly requirements.
• Ensure the required data quality standards (customer / ZKW).
• Make sure that the CAD models describes the item correctly and fulfill the formal requirements as well as simple tolerance analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish of virtual models including documentation and specification regarding to the defined standards on the 3D CAD system (3D-Master). Managing CAD data from single parts and small assemblies in the PDM system.
• Further detail tasks description is according to assigned role descriptions.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Basic knowledge of plastics/sheet metal/die casting and basic design knowledge.
• Knowledge of CATIA or NX.
• Advance knowledge of Core Tools.
• Advance knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Advance knowledge of AIAG and VDA 6.3.
• Creativity and affinity to industrial design.
