About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the mining sector, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Ingeniero Geólogo Senior to join their dynamic team in Culiacán, Sinaloa . This is a critical role focused on overseeing and optimizing geological operations within our client's active mining sites. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of geological principles, extensive experience in mineral exploration and resource estimation, and a proven track record of success in a demanding mining environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and profitability of our client's mining ventures. This position requires a hands-on approach, with significant time spent at the mine site, contributing directly to the extraction and assessment of valuable mineral resources.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or Mining Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in geological roles within the mining industry, with a strong emphasis on exploration and resource geology.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, ArcGIS).
• Demonstrated experience in open-pit and/or underground mining environments.
• Strong understanding of geochemical and geophysical exploration techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Culiacán, Sinaloa , and occasionally travel to other company locations.
• Registered Professional Geologist or equivalent certification is a plus.
