Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Technical Support Engineer for manufacturing equipment to join a global, remote-first team. You will diagnose complex issues, analyze data, and guide remote troubleshooting with on-site engineers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and fluency in Spanish and English. This role is remote-first with flexible work arrangements from Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience supporting or maintaining complex manufacturing equipment.
Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, automation, and control systems in manufacturing.
Proficiency with remote diagnostic software, data analysis tools, and network protocols.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Provide expert remote technical support and diagnostics for manufacturing machinery (CNC, automation, robotics).
Analyze real-time data, sensor outputs, and error logs to identify issues.
Collaborate with on-site field engineers and client teams to guide troubleshooting.
Create technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
Monitor equipment performance remotely and advise preventive maintenance.
Drive continuous improvement with feedback on performance and reliability.
