Placements24 busca un Ingeniero de Redes Senior para un rol 100% remoto en México.

Serás parte del NOC, monitorizando y solucionando incidencias para garantizar disponibilidad y rendimiento 24/7. Se exige 5+ años, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, VLAN/STP y gestión de firewalls. Certificaciones CCNP/CCIE/JNCIP son bienvenidas, y se valora la comunicación en español.

Qualifications

• Experiencia 5+ años como Ingeniero de Redes en NOC.
• Conocimientos de BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN y STP.
• Configuración y resolución de incidencias en firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Dominio de herramientas de monitoreo de red (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios).
• Excelentes habilidades de resolución de problemas y comunicación en español.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma remota.

Responsibilities

• Monitorear proactivamente la red y sistemas con herramientas NMS.
• Detectar, diagnosticar y resolver incidencias de red en tiempo real.
• Gestionar incidentes críticos y escalar cuando sea necesario.
• Implementar cambios en la configuración de red siguiendo procedimientos.
• Realizar RCA para incidentes recurrentes.
• Colaborar con ingeniería, operaciones y proveedores.
• Mantener documentación técnica de red.
• Participar en planificación de capacidad y mejora continua.
• Mantenerse actualizado con tecnologías de redes y telecomunicaciones.
• Responder a alertas para cobertura ininterrumpida.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitorear de forma proactiva el estado de la red y los sistemas utilizando herramientas de NMS (Network Management System).
• Detectar, diagnosticar y resolver incidencias de red complejas en tiempo real (routers, switches, firewalls, enlaces WAN/LAN).
• Gestionar y escalar incidentes críticos, asegurando la rápida restauración del servicio.
• Implementar cambios en la configuración de la red siguiendo procedimientos establecidos y documentados.
• Realizar análisis de causa raíz (RCA) para incidentes recurrentes y proponer mejoras.
• Colaborar con equipos de ingeniería, operaciones y proveedores para la resolución de problemas.
• Desarrollar y mantener la documentación técnica relacionada con la red y los procedimientos operativos.
• Participar en la planificación de capacidad y en la mejora continua de la infraestructura de red.
• Mantenerse al día con las últimas tecnologías y tendencias en redes y telecomunicaciones .
• Responder a alertas y notificaciones del sistema, asegurando una cobertura ininterrumpida.

Requirements

• Amplia experiencia (5+ años) como Ingeniero de Redes, preferiblemente en un entorno NOC.
• Conocimiento profundo de protocolos de enrutamiento (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLAN, STP) y tecnologías de balanceo de carga.
• Experiencia sólida en la configuración y troubleshooting de firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Dominio de herramientas de monitoreo de red (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios).
• Excelentes habilidades de resolución de problemas, pensamiento crítico y capacidad para trabajar bajo presión.
• Experiencia demostrada en la gestión de incidentes y problemas en redes complejas.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita en español.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma y gestionar eficazmente el tiempo en un entorno remoto.
• Se valorarán certificaciones como CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP o similares.
• Conocimiento de tecnologías de virtualización de redes (SDN, NFV) y Cloud Networking es un plus.
