Job summary

Festo México is seeking a Network Engineer to join the global network team, supporting both on-site and remote operations across regions. The role focuses on high availability, performance, and security of the enterprise network infrastructure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment, participate in rotational on-call service, and contribute to network design, testing, and documentation to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications Engineering or related field.
• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of experience in network operations.
• Fluent English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a global network operations team, supporting on-site and remote responsibilities.
• Ensure high availability and stability of network services (switching, routing, WLAN, security, cloud).
• Participate in rotational on-call duty and respond to critical incidents promptly.
• Monitor network performance, baselining and proactive issue detection.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Provide network expertise to cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Plan, design, and implement voice and data communication networks aligned with business requirements.
• Evaluate, test, and integrate new network technologies into existing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standards.
• Define and implement processes to ensure network configuration conformity.
