Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico seeks an Industrial Engineer to apply industrial engineering concepts to improve cost leadership, quality, and service. You will define capacity, standard times, time studies, and SAP routing accuracy while optimizing line design and material flow.

The role involves handling multiple projects, performing CP analysis, and collaborating with manufacturing, planning, and quality teams to drive cost reduction and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience applying industrial engineering to improve product/information flow.
• Strong data analysis and statistical skills.
• Proficient English communications.

Responsabilités

• Be accountable for timely completion of multiple projects.
• Generate labor standard times and perform time studies.
• Do process flow maps, capacity identification, and SAP routing loading.
• Load correct Part Numbers in SAP and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze cost performance vs. standard and execute cost roll-up.
• Propose line designs to optimize capacity and material flow.
• Support SAP PN structure linked manufacturing projects.

• Purpose of Position.
  

Provide engineering & production knowledge to establish a competitive cost leadership position , contributing with the superior quality & service to our customersApply Industrial Engineering concepts to improve product and information flow, define capacity, set up cost per unit, reduce complexity, and reduce costs by resource optimization.

• Major responsibilities and tasks of the position.Be accountable for the timely completion of many projects simultaneouslyBe responsible of generate the labor standard timeBe responsible of time studies, Process Flow maps & Capacity identification picture according to production area & the systemBe responsible for having routers loaded in the SAP system correctlyStructure the Critical logic characteristics of the product by Area/Work Center/OperationList the two most complex decisions indicative of this function and its impact to the function, department and/or corporation.Develop Capacity Models within SAPSecure Cost Roll Up processExecute Time studies and CT analysis
• Responsible of loading Part Number pending into SAP
• Analysis on Variations for Cost performance vs. Standard
• Validates changes in product and process for standard improvement
