Alstom is seeking a full-time onsite Computer Aided Designer (CAD) in Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo, MX. In this role, you will create and modify CAD models, collaborate with teams across engineering and manufacturing, and ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

You will work with cutting-edge design tools, contribute to impactful engineering projects, and thrive in a dynamic and inclusive workplace. A degree in a relevant field and CAD software knowledge are essential.

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your Computer Aided Design (CAD) expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You’ll contribute to designing and developing engineering solutions that drive the success of our projects. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and manufacturing), ensure the accuracy of technical drawings, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

• Creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Reviewing and interpreting technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Ensuring all designs meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Supporting the engineering team in developing innovative solutions for complex challenges.
• Conducting design reviews and implementing necessary modifications based on feedback.
• Maintaining detailed documentation and version control of all design files.
• Providing technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases.
• Staying updated on the latest CAD tools, techniques, and industry trends.
• Actively contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
