Job summary

Landis+Gyr in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on plant equipment, ensuring uptime of manufacturing processes. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, repair faults, and support installation and commissioning of new equipment while maintaining maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
• Experience interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with CMMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment per plan.
• Diagnose failures in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or control systems and repair.
• Assist installation, commissioning, and validation of new production equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts usage.
• Ensure tools and measurement equipment are available and functioning.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues affecting equipment performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain orderly and safe work area (5S).
