Maersk is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join the Automation and Operation Technology (AOT) team. You will design, validate, and integrate automation and OT solutions across Maersk’s warehouse network, translating operational needs into scalable concepts and plans.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead validation activities, and ensure successful deployment from concept to testing, contributing to performance, efficiency, and reliability improvements across logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, automation, OT, or related engineering environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher).
• Experience designing or supporting warehouse automation solutions such as sortation systems, PTL, AGVs/AMRs, AS/RS.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Solution Designers, Operations, and stakeholders to understand automation opportunities.
• Develop, validate, and refine scopes of work for automation systems and OT devices.
• Create designs aligned with ISA-95 principles and infrastructure requirements.
• Prepare budget estimates and assess total cost of ownership for automation projects.
• Lead validation activities for tenders, review requirements, evaluate vendor proposals, and provide recommendations.
• Support design reviews, value stream mapping, testing strategies, and automation acceptance (FAT/UAT).
• Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and internal teams for deployment and integration.
