HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Controls & Automation Engineer to drive digitalization across manufacturing operations. This role will design, program, integrate, and optimize automation systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming, Ladder Logic, HMI development, and Cognex vision systems, and will support IT and operations in

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming in manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency in ladder logic and PLC control architectures.
• Hands-on HMI design and configuration experience.
• Experience with Cognex vision systems and machine vision.
• Strong understanding of Industrial PC (IPC) and PLC control architectures.
• Experience in manufacturing automation environments.
• Familiarity with real-time data visualization and monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead integration, configuration, and programming of Allen Bradley PLCs for automated systems.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC applications using ladder logic.
• Design and configure HMIs to improve operator interaction and visibility.
• Implement Cognex vision systems and computer vision tools for inspection.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and IT to drive digital transformation.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support secure communication between shop-floor equipment and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with machine controls, automation, and digital manufacturing tech.
• Create technical documentation and project specifications.
