Victaulic is seeking an Indirect Materials Planner in Chihuahua to coordinate replenishment of consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials for Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses, ensuring inventory supports plant operations. You’ll work with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, and Warehouse to manage requisitions and maintain availability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in inventory planning and control.
• Experience calculating inventory levels and inventory turnover.
• Knowledge of FIFO, First In, First Out, inventory practices.
• Experience performing or coordinating cycle counts.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
• Experience creating and managing purchase requisitions.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze inventory levels to identify replenishment needs and generate purchase requisitions for consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials.
• Enter, maintain, and update purchase requisition records to ensure accurate and timely information.
• Organize and segregate consumable requirements by production area to support effective material planning.
• Follow up on purchase requisitions pending approval to support timely processing and material availability.
• Monitor approved requisitions that are pending Purchase Order creation and coordinate the corresponding follow-up.
• Coordinate and manage cycle count activities to support inventory accuracy.
• Support inventory planning and control activities for the Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses.
