Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager Jr., Inbound to lead a team of Amazon Associates in a Fulfillment Center. This entry-level manager role focuses on coaching, safety, quality, and operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will work rotating shifts (4x3 or 5x2), weekends/overnights as needed, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance within Amazon Operations.

Qualifications

• Work a rotating, flexible schedule including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• High school or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
• This role requires to work on a 4x3 or 5x2 journal
• The position rotates shifts at least 2-3 times per year
• This is not a remote position
