Job summary

The Hershey Company in Mexico seeks an Assoc Mgr Logistics to safeguard import continuity, compliance, and cost efficiency across U.S. import operations. You will partner with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to move goods smoothly and meet regulatory requirements.

You will drive payments governance, invoicing controls, and reporting using SAP S/4 and Power BI, while leading end-to-end import execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of international logistics, U.S. imports, or trade compliance experience.
• Experience with invoice processing or payment governance, customs brokers, carriers, and shipment documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage payments to ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and service providers; verify charges.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice receipt and approval in systems (SAP S/4, related tools).
• Lead U.S. import execution across air, ocean, truck, and rail; coordinate docs and release.
• Prepare information for U.S. Customs and other agencies; handle holds and delays.
• Collaborate with brokers, forwarders, carriers, and partners to obtain shipment information.
• Own KPIs, vendor reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
