Empresa Confidencial in Mexico City is seeking an Importation Leader to ensure the flow of products from suppliers to customers is timely, cost‑effective, and meets all quality standards.

You will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers; oversee transportation, warehousing, budgets, and KPIs; lead logistics staff; and drive continuous improvement using SAP, WMS and Microsoft Office. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in logistics with leadership experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, business, or related field (preferred).
• Advanced English.
• Proficiency with SAP, WMS and Microsoft Office.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, route optimization, and cost-effective shipping methods.
• Supervise warehousing activities, including inventory control, storage, order picking, and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Develop and manage logistics budgets, monitor transportation and warehousing expenses, and find cost‑saving opportunities.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities in logistics operations, including optimizing shipping routes, minimizing inventory holding costs, and improving warehouse efficiency.
• Lead and manage logistics teams, including drivers, warehouse staff, and coordinators.
• Provide training and development opportunities to staff members, ensuring high performance.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance.
• Analyze data on logistics efficiency, costs, and delivery times, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
