Trend Smart CE México, S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking a professional for imports and exports operations coordination in Tijuana. The role requires knowledge of IMMEX operations, import/export logistics, and compliance with U.S. and Mexican trade laws.

Ideal candidates should be organized, proactive, and skilled in Office tools while being bilingual in English and Spanish. A minimum of 2 years' experience is required alongside a relevant business education.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge for BOM levels.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Imports and exports operations for IMMEX company.
• Monitor cycle times for Import-Export operation and Customs clearance process.
• Ensure compliance with global trade laws.

Responsibilities

• IMMEX Operations, Import & Export activities, Trucking Companies & Mexican/US Brokers Coordination.
• Annex 24 (Intrade as a plus).
• Main Task: Imports and exports operations coordination of Service IMMEX company.
• Freight Arrangements & Follow up with Trucking Companies.
• Coordination with MX & US Customs Brokers.
• Updating law & regulation changes as soon as they are published in the D.O.F.
• Ensure that the Company complies with global trade laws, and utilizes laws and mechanisms to reduce duty and tax liabilities.
• NAFTA knowledgeable. Manage the correct application of the North America Free Trade Agreement.
• Oversee import and export transactions to ensure compliance with Mexico and U.S. Customs regulations, including US and MX HTS code, country of origin, value and description.
• Ensure on‑time deliveries (Imports and Exports) having all requirements needed to comply with Mexican and U.S. Customs regulation.
• Monitor cycle times for Import‑Export operation and Customs clearance process.
• Determination of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications for Imports and Exports.
• Coordinate the logistics with the Customs Brokers and the Freight Companies the movements of Import‑Export.
• Coordinate activities with different operation departments.

Qualifications

• Business Career, international business or similar.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position.

• Knowledge and experience with Office Word, Excel (graphs, spreadsheets, etc.).
• Very good organization and follow up skills.

• Manufacturing systems for inventory & production knowledge also a plus (SAP).
