Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Compliance Specialist II to support and ensure import/export compliance under the Mexican regulatory framework and the IMMEX program. You will manage activities for raw materials, components, finished goods, and equipment, while maintaining accurate records and supporting Global Trade Compliance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, International Business, Foreign Trade, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in customs, international trade, or trade compliance within IMMEX.
• Hands-on experience with Annex 24 and Annex 30 systems.
• Knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and IMMEX requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate temporary and permanent import/export operations for materials and equipment.
• Monitor Annex 24/Annex 30 systems and related compliance tasks.
• Maintain VAT/IEPS and AEO/OEA certification requirements and related documentation.
• Review pedimentos and import/export records for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare Certificates of Origin (USMCA/T-MEC) and ensure correct origin calculations.
