Job summary

Senior Trade Compliance Specialist – Hybrid role with Monterrey, Reynosa, and Ciudad de México locations. Supports IMMEX and import/export controls, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory alignment across sites.

You will work with import-export, logistics, procurement, legal/compliance and brokers to reduce risk and drive efficient cross-border operations. Bilingual Spanish/English required with 3–5 years in trade compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or related field.
• 3–5 years in trade compliance or related area.
• Knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and IMMEX.
• Experience with IMMEX and Annex 24/31 requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and trade software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with Mexican customs laws and trade regulations.
• Support IMMEX program compliance, including temporary imports and audits.
• Ensure accurate import/export documentation per Mexican requirements.
• Review tariff classifications and country of origin data for accuracy.
• Coordinate with brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
• Prepare trade compliance reports and audits.
• Provide training on trade compliance to internal teams.
