You will oversee z/OS, TSO, SDSF, JCL, IDCAMS, and IWS; partner with Core Enterprise Platform leaders; use DevOps practices to improve reliability and cost efficiency.

This role requires strong technical depth, banking industry experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as infrastructure system programmer in a banking/financial services organisation.
• Strong knowledge of IBM Mainframe Z and related tools.
• Experience with COBOL and embedded SQL.
• Ability to balance risks and optimize cost effectiveness for the business.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with Core Enterprise Platform leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical and operational aspects of the IBM Mainframe Z platform.
• Ensure the availability and continuity of HSBC's critical services.
• Manage components such as z/OS, TSO, SDSF, JCL, IDCAMS, and IWS.
