Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Tlanepantla, Mexico, is hiring a Solution Engineer to design, configure, and test software solutions per customer specs. You will document designs and install software at customer sites, supporting the project from configuration through delivery.

The role requires a software engineering background, fluency in English, and the ability to work across teams, with up to 20% travel. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor or comparable degree in Computer Science (Electrical, Software, Computer or Automation)
• Experience with packaging line equipment in food/beverage packaging industries preferred
• Proven track record of developing, testing and installing software solutions
• Proven ability to test, install and validate software performance against project deliverables
• Fluent English and strong communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Review final sales proposal before design and configuration and escalate issues
• Write Detailed Design Specification documentation for required software deliverables
• Execute software engineering steps per project plan with coordination
• Meet customer expectations within development and configuration schedule and budget
• Install CoLOS software solutions at customer sites when necessary
• Handover configured solution for review with Service Delivery Engineer
• Create and deliver hand-off package for Customer Service Helpdesk
• Support escalated installation, FAT and SAT issues
• Contribute to standards projects to improve process and tools
