Job summary

Oliver Wyman, a Marsh affiliate, seeks an Analyst to support the billable project lifecycle across the Americas practice. You will help configure new opportunities, ensure accurate data, and support revenue and billing readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Working with Controllership and Talent Management, you will develop foundational knowledge of project economics, revenue operations and reporting systems, while delivering high-quality service to Business Managers and Finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Initial experience in a commercial, finance, operations or professional services environment; internship or placement experience is acceptable.
• Proficient in Excel (lookups, SUMIFS, conditional formatting, filtering and pivot tables).
• Exposure to project accounting/invoicing or project lifecycle systems (Salesforce, Certinia) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support basic project setup from opportunity conversion through project code creation and reviews.
• Collect, verify and validate core project details including billing and timelines.
• Maintain Certinia data for accurate project allocation and reporting.
• Manage daily work queues with status updates and blockers.
• Coordinate with Controllership and Talent Management on project data queries.
• Assist with routine lifecycle inquiries and timesheet issues.
• Support month-end/year-end reconciliation of open items.
• Report recurring questions and improve SOPs and handoffs.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and Tableau/Power BI data extractions.
