Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage global commodities and provide best-in-class procurement experience while maximizing budget value. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to translate priorities into procurement plans and to negotiate favorable terms.

The position emphasizes risk management, supplier performance monitoring, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver cost-effective outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• First level university degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
• Understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
• Basic analytical skills.
• Knowledge of business application tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Basic Project Management skills.
• Basic ability to develop suppliers.
• Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills.
• Mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to create a contract using standard company contract templates with supervision.
• Applies cause and effect thinking to identify common contract risk areas.
• Basic contracting principles.
• Good understanding of the company's business units and the company's business strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the analysis of specific commodity data and industry trends or lead an individual supply chain sub-category.
• Participate as a member of a cross-functional team (may lead specific projects).
• Meet with stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans.
• Participate in supplier selection activities.
• Negotiate with suppliers.
• Engage with low-complexity suppliers to negotiate commercials and acceptable contracting outcomes using pre-packed solutions.
• Negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions.
• Execute risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies.
• Advise program level business representatives on fundamental contract risk areas.
• Monitor supplier performance.
