Job summary
Autoliv Mexico is seeking an Electronics and Mechatronics Engineer to ensure E&M products meet defined requirements via structured DV/PV validation. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication.
- 6-10 years of validation, testing, or product engineering experience in automotive Electronics & Mechatronics.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, sensors, safety systems, test equipment and lab environments.
- Willing to travel to internal/external labs, customer locations, and manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities
- Define and align validation and verification strategies for Electronics & Mechatronics programs to meet requirements.
- Lead the execution of DV and PV testing across laboratories with timely, accurate reporting.
- Monitor validation progress, analyze results and support product maturity decisions.
- Identify validation gaps, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risks and enable launches.
