Job summary

Autoliv Mexico is seeking an Engineering Prototyping Support to prepare, build, validate and manage prototype products in alignment with customer specs and quality standards. You will use specialized equipment, ensure traceability, and drive prototype builds from planning through delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in manufacturing or prototype development.
• Hands-on experience with sewing machines, laser cutting, and assembly machinery.
• Familiarity with measurement tools and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, validate and control prototype products per drawings and customer requirements.
• Generate and manage technical documentation, labels and production records to ensure traceability.
• Operate and support laser systems, sewing machines and assembly equipment with setup and changeovers.
• Validate materials and first-piece production through inspections and measurements.
• Support prototype logistics, material flow, inventory control and root cause analysis.
