Job summary

Autoliv Mexico seeks an Industrial Engineer to support the production site by delivering technical expertise across the product lifecycle, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with APQP and customer methods. You will drive engineering changes, line trials, and validation activities for new products and components.

The role requires aBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Design Engineering and 2+ years in automotive product launches or engineering projects, with CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Design Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in product launches, engineering projects, or application engineering in automotive.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC) and engineering change management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects with solid communication skills.
• Proficiency with CAD drawings and customer portal management.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and application engineering changes at the production site with cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate ECR assessments, AS007, CCB presentations, and change documentation.
• Plan line trials, PSOs, PV builds, and validation for new products and changes.
• Maintain BOM accuracy across E‑BOM, M‑BOM, JDE, and Man‑IT systems.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, customers, and quality teams.
