Job summary

The ideal candidate has a university degree in management or engineering, fluent English, and the ability to work under pressure. Travel may be required, and knowledge of Annex 24 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export operations considered a plus.
• Knowledge of IMMEX/Annex 24 inventory control is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with customs brokers and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English is required for international coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and the company's internal procedures.
• Maintain constant coordination with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances, addressing inspections, amendments, operational errors, and government requirements.
• Administer and monitor proper inventory control in accordance with Annex 24 requirements.
• Coordinate with internal areas such as logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, and Compliance to ensure proper execution and traceability of IMMEX operations.
• Ensure the correct application of customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, and changes of regime), verifying that transactions are executed within authorized terms and conditions.
• Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations (NOMs, prior permits, automatic notices, quotas, certifications, among others).
• Supervise the proper preparation, validation, and transmission of customs declarations, ensuring consistency of tariff, tax, and identifier information.
• Ensure the integration and retention of foreign trade compliance files in accordance with current regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, and/or weekends, as required by operational needs.
