MezTal is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant – Accounts Receivable & General Ledger to work with a U.S.-based client in construction and fiber/internet infrastructure.

The role combines AR activities with GL and accounting responsibilities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and ensuring GAAP compliance. Strong problem-solving and independent work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred, with AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and collections.
• Experience with General Ledger and month-end close and journal entries.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP concepts and revenue recognition.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day Accounts Receivable and invoicing activities.
• Prepare and review customer invoices based on project information.
• Track customer approvals and requirements for invoicing and payment.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Post customer payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Perform journal entries to the General Ledger and reconcile GL accounts.
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, and WIP accounting.
• Support revenue recognition and related accounting processes.
