MezTal is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage general accounting, AP/AR reconciliations, and the month-end close for the facilities we operate. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include posting payroll, handling credit card transactions, and preparing financial reports. A BS in Accounting and proficiency with accounting software and MS Office are essential. Hybrid work arrangement in Mexico is available with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• BS degree in Accounting.
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable or General Ledger accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical and data entry abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close.
• Post payroll journal entries from payroll files.
• Handle all work related to company credit cards.
• Allocate expenses for vendors and perform wage allocations.
• Process AP/AR transactions and reconcile ledgers.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing AR status.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices.
